“ Funny Farm is now permanently closed. I am and friends very sad as we have been coming to this super fun restaurant for years at different addresses. Ambiance?: Great food, good prices, super fun employees. We can only hope that they re-open in the future. Where can I find Poutine?! They had four different types! One of the most difficult foods to find! Thank you for all your hard work and fun times! ”
“ I went here the Friday before their closing. Their poutine was excellent. It had bits of smoked pork that went well with the fries and gravy. The wings were pretty good too. I had the UFO burger. With the cheese chips and bacon it was a bit too crunchy, which is a funny thing to say about a burger. I really wish I also got a breakfast burrito to go. ”
“ Came for a family members birthday who loves burgers and wasn't expecting much. As soon as you walk in, the employees greet you and you and transported into some nostalgic decor. The host let us know it would be about a 5 minute wait and let us know we could sit by a portable heater instead of standing. This was perfect as one of my family members have lupus and the cold is too much. We waiting probably about 5 minutes and were seated by a waitress. The vibe there was so positive and fun and there was always some piece of decor to look at to giggle. The menu is silly but has a wide range of burgers (including impossible burgers and burgers for your dog). If you wanna feel a bit like a chemist or play into the child like wonder of being here, i definitely recommend ordering the Mermaid Lemonade. Sure it's just coloring but the drink itself is refreshing without being too sweet. We all ordered different burgers and sides and not one of us was disappointed! We were pleasantly impressed, especially for the price point. Personally I enjoyed that the employees seem to enjoy working there. It was also very sweet to witness employees remembering customers and talking to them personally as well as treating new customers to a similar level of kindness. As I got up to leave, I got a bit stuck on the corner of the table and the busser rushed over to me to pull my chair back. It could have been embarrassing but thank you to that gentleman! Unfortunately we forgot to ask for our waitresses name but if you have the bleached eyebrows, you really made us feel welcomed and your jokes were funny (: it definitely made for a memorable first visit. We're already planning to visit again! To summarize, great food, good prices, silly ambience, kind employees, and overall fun. The art itself is family appropriate and there is outdoor seating. Great place to feel apart of a community! ”
“ A nice spot for dinner. We went on a Saturday during their happy hour and got a burger, their wings, and their garlic fries. Everything hit the spot after a day out. Service was very quick and friendly. Our server/host Ellie did a fantastic job taking care of our order and answering our questions. Will definitely be back one day. ”
“ Service 5/5 - Ellie aka Ava was absolutely the best! She embodies the funnyness of Funny Farm bringing smiles to everyone. The kids adored her so much! Ambiance 5/5 - We sat outside with our pup, which they were so accommodating bringing out water for him. The decoration made us feel like we were eating somewhere that's not Evergreen. Food 4/5 - The poutine was delicious and said it was on Man vs. Food! Def want to try it with tater tots next time. The Monte Cristo was interesting - more of a burrito than a sandwich. My friend was really bothered it came with strawberry jelly instead of grape. The kids loved their Mac n' cheese & alfredo pasta. Thank you, Ellie ”
“ (3.5 out of 5) If you're anti social this may not be the place for you, ever heard of the reasturant where they purposely make fun of you? This ain't the same but in the same lines, "funny" lots of jokes and it makes you feel very welcome. Waiter grabbed all of our names and everyone that worked there was very welcoming, food here was a solid 4/5 pretty good! Stinky fries were good if you like butter, may not feel the best after eating it but oh well go get a salad from Safeway if it's a problem. I tried everyone food and it was all pretty good, I do suggest getting the burgers though. Ambiance was cool. When you come tell them Rothyy sent you! ”
“ Oooo this place is so yummy! I live in the area and did not know about this restaurant until I randomly stumbled upon on it on Yelp. The amazing reviews lives up. We ordered the beef short rib poutine and cowboy burger and it was so good! Will be coming back soon ”
“ 2 of my running friends and I had decided to run the 7 mile loop of Hellyer/Hassler/Silver Creek on a Dec Sat morning. Planning to reward ourselves with brunch nearby. Funny Farm was suggested and I immediately voted for it based on the cute name. The place has a wimcycle cheerful vibe, a happy place. Large windows to brighten up the place. Cushy chairs all around. I had the Pig in the hole - Carnitas, Brioche (eggy bread) , over easy eggs and cheese sauce. I love comfort food. This is definitely a good place. ”
